“The moment he stepped into the room, the woman stood up,” the witness said.

“She said, ‘We want to make a statement.

This is not a joke.'”

A friend of Weinstein’s, who spoke to The Post on the condition of anonymity, said he was not surprised by the outburst.

“He was not joking,” the friend said.

“[He] was in an extremely vulnerable place.”

“She had just given him a big hug,” the man said.

After the alleged assault, Weinstein called his wife to say he had just gotten a text message from her, according to the friend.

“I was on the phone with my wife, and it was just a momentary, fleeting moment,” the woman told The Post.

“But I couldn’t believe it.

He said, “My wife is going to be mad at me.”

The women I’ve dated have all behaved with the utmost respect for each other and for each others’ personal space,” he said.
