The New York Yankees are on a roll, and they are riding a hot streak of seven consecutive games without allowing a run.

They are on their best run in the last 12 games, and while they haven’t given up a run since they were in last place, they have not allowed more than three runs in any game since they had seven in their last eight games.

They have only allowed five runs in five games, but this is still a hot run.

The Yankees have given up 11 or fewer runs in three of their last five games.

The New England Patriots have allowed eight or fewer in four of their first five games and the Arizona Cardinals have given away four or fewer nine times in their first six games.

With their hot run, the Yankees are 2-1 in the first game of a back-to-back.

Their previous high for the first half was seven in a row from Sept. 19-23, 2017.

They had three games where they gave up more than four runs, and one game where they surrendered fewer than two.

They went 5-0 against teams that had three or fewer wins the last time they had a 10-game run, going 4-0 in those games.

So this is one of the teams that has been in a 10+ game hot streak for the last three weeks, so it is a nice development.

The Patriots have been a great team.

They lead the league in average runs allowed (2.06), average runs scored (4.14), average innings pitched (189.0) and average runs per game (1.65).

They have allowed two runs or less in seven of their past eight games and have lost two games in a span of five days.

They gave up one run or fewer two times in that span.

They got the shutout on Friday against the San Francisco 49ers.

They did it by pitching two shutout innings of one-run ball in a win over the Atlanta Falcons.

They lost on Saturday at New Orleans by a score of 23-7.

They beat the New England by seven runs.

They tied the Patriots for the most wins at 6-3.

They trailed the Patriots in hits for the second straight week but they scored nine runs against the Saints.

They were held to four hits in a 3-1 loss at San Francisco.

The Bills have a chance to bounce back against the Yankees and give up one more run.

In fact, the Bills have scored at least three runs five times in five of their games since Sept. 3.

They only lost by a run once in that stretch.

They won the game in double overtime on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.

They scored nine straight runs to snap a four-game losing streak.

The Jets have allowed one run in six games and haven’t allowed more runs than three since they started the streak.

They haven’t been shutout in five consecutive games and are on the verge of doing it again.

They also have the best record in the league at 5-1.

They play at Baltimore on Thursday.

This is the third straight week they have gone 6-0 without giving up a home run.

Their only loss came against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sept. 22.

This game is in Phoenix.

This week, the Dolphins are playing at New England, then at Kansas City and at San Diego.

The Rams are hosting the Chiefs.
